Just realized that the FASB conceptual framework for financial statements has been changed

I’ve been studying the wrong thing…no wonder I was getting all those questions wrong

it’s not worth it. Pay the extra money and get the updated materials.

I just wanted to let the OP know in case he hasn't done this, depending on the material he is using, most courses offer an update. Jeff has them with his NINJA notes. If you are using Yaeger, go online and order the 2011 July update and now the 2012 update. If you are a current student, you will get a discount, I think it is like 10 – 15 for each update. If you are not, I think they are around 25. The update will be a lecture, usually 1 – 2 hours and have an updated handout, a pdf emailed to you.

I wouldn't wish CPA exam failure on my worst enemy. We work too hard for too long for someone to just throw that around like that. This is supposed to be a supportive community and in the past few weeks I've seen more insulting posts than motivational ones.

Did you read the entire thread? If you did then you would have already seen where I admitted I could have been more eloquent in what I said. Let me clarify, the purpose of my comment was to act as a disclaimer in case someone decided to listen to him/her. I was simplying proving that this poster has, on several occassions, blamed a test bank of some sort on failing. Also, he has tried to discredit the fact that I passed REG with only a 76 and I used 2011 material. People that come here for help deserve to know the type of source their information is coming from. In my opinion he is not a good source when it comes to posting reviews about what review material to use. I hope you see where I am coming from now, as it was not my intention to come across as superior to anyone or that my comment was appropriate. But again, I already admitted that three times now.

No apology needed. It was in the middle of a post I made that is why I wanted to re-type it again so everyone was clear as to why I said what I said and that the way I said it was not the best. I stand by what I said but not the way I said it. But that is the problem with forums, you can never guess the tone of someone's post. akb has nothing to apologize for. If goodluck doesn't want to own his past posts maybe she/he should delete them. This is stupid- we are all adults. Goodluck posted bad information and someone called him/her own it. Shouldn't have been a big deal, except goodluck immediately lost it and called us all idiots. Actions have consequences- no one likes a rude defensive whiner.

If you post incorrect information expect to be corrected- especially on a baord like this- many many people on here have passed these exams and know exactly what it takes.

So take the saddle off the drama llama- download the bloody update and study from that. Or don't, because it would be a shame if you failed again and had nothing to blame it on.

@wickedrentlover – I logged in just to echo your post! I can't believe someone on this forum would with failing a part of the CPA exam on anyone! I'd rather be called any name in the book than someone wish that on me!
