Just realized that the FASB conceptual framework for financial statements has been changed

I’ve been studying the wrong thing…no wonder I was getting all those questions wrong

it’s not worth it. Pay the extra money and get the updated materials.

I'm not sure what test you are referring to but I have used 2011 test material and I passed REG…sorry to be a butt head but were you not the same person that blamed Becker when you failed before..so…I sense a trend…

I wasn't blaming anything on anything. All I said that it wasnt wise to use 2011 materials assuming that not much would be changed. It was a simple tip because so many people ask if it is worth updating to 2012 materials

As far as the updated material go, Becker has the FASB conceptual framework updated on their site. Thanks for pointing it out, I overlooked it…but glad you brought it to my attention.

PS: I also used REG 2011 to pass the exam in Feb 2012.

2011 is perfectly fine. The conceptual framework is the only thing that's different. My study material is 2011 Becker. I have 2012 wiley test bank and that's the only noticeable difference. You will be fine with 2011 material. good luck on the exam.

last I checked I posted this in the FAR section and made no reference to anything other than the fasb conceptual framework.

@cpa628 Glad I could help. I overlooked this too and it would've cost me 2 or 3 questions on the first testlet I'm sure. That would have been bad and a stupid way to lose points

Name calling comes in two forms:

1) being blunt about it

2) insinuating it
