I’m having a hard time understanding and learning what type of transactions go into the different governmental, fiduciary and proprietary funds. I know the different funds. General, Special Revenue, Debt Service, Capital Projects, Permanent fund..Enterprise, internal service..etc etc I just get confused between things like special revenue and permanent fund. Can anyone provide some good tools for this?

    Hi @Please Curve A 74,

This site helped me a lot: https://sites.google.com/site/farnotes/gas-34/journal-entries–fund-based-vs-government-wide

That link basically lists down the type of transactions and entries. I studied it a day before my exam and I was able to retain it. Government-wide (equates to consolidated fs at the end of the period).

The fund's name also helps you with what it does.

I had some trouble with this area as well. I ended up scrapping the whole chapter, and then re-watching all the lectures from the beginning.
The second time around it finally started to click.
    Keep on keepin' on.
