Im taking FAR in a few days and I’m not sure what to do next? I’m doing around 60-80 in all the sections pretty much and I’m not sure if I should just keep doing MCQ or watch more lectures? I’m worried. I also have Wiley CPA excel

This post has been very helpful! I am in same boat – FAR on December 8th- and I am panicking that I am not ready- I get flustered within questions (even with 10+ years of accounting behind me).

I was about to settle down to re-watch videos of what I felt are “problem areas” until I read this. I am trending about a 69-70 on Ninja MCQ (improving as I go and I have seen about half of the questions. I will continue to go about the MCQs as all of you are doing and hope for the best 🙂

I feel like taking a practice exam won't help me learn anything at this point so I'm more focusing on subtopics and going through them individually

Another 72-DO NOT underestimate gov't accounting and NFP. Those are heavily tested in the MCQ and are easy points once you learn it.

@anyatver ,While I am taking mock on Becker's ( Govt and NFP ) I am getting 87-94 and overall 80-87%.When I try mock on Ninja I get 76% and in govt and NFP 75-80%.What is going on.Should I do more NInja or more Becker's ?
How helpful is Becker's Skill practice and SIMs ? I am focusing Skill practice because it has nice explanation and approach and even though I get all green I click explain.
I have compiled all JE of Becker's and almost review everyday so I don't forget.I know Inventory is debited and cash is credited when brought and credited when sold and COGS debited.LOL I forget the GL valuation account when crediting unrealized loss to OCI. Yes I am paranoid this time and reading writing my own JE notes.Before FAR I used to believe I am good in JE .LOL.Will it bump my score by 5 marks ?
Bond ,Lease ,Pension,Asset and Liabilities , I did all mCQ ,SP and SIMs from Becker's multiple time and kind of sticking in my brain.
Any advise appreciated to boost 10 marks I have one week full time as taken time off.Just need 78.So many questions.

I would say if you get high marks in Becker on gov't and NFP it's more than enough. Ninja had a lot of very obscure questions, comparatively speaking. Regardless 76% in Ninja is like 80s on the test:) Skills practice-don't waste your time on it. Make sure you review SIMS that have DRS in Becker (I think there are 5 total) and JE SIMS. It is helpful to study the material anyway. And I found AICPA practice exam helpful. the real thing is harder but gives you a flavor of what it might look like. Did you do Becker Mock Exams? Those are good to do as well. And you only need a 75! 🙂 LOL

Thanks a lot @anyatver .Haven't done mock test ,do you think it has good questions ? JE SIMs and DRS SIMS ,I will redo.75 is too risky , need some cushion .LOL

I know what you mean-I meant 75 on the test:) LOL I have always done Mock Exams. If nothing else, you are in exam mode with 66 MCQ and 8 SIMS.
