Took my first CPA exam yesterday, whew. The experience as a whole was not bad at all. I was pretty relaxed during the entire exam (except when I got all hot and sweaty at one point during the SIMS).

My testlets were easy, hard, medium, and the SIMS were all on topics I studied well. I actually got 2 research questions. Any idea when the scores are being released? I don’t know how you guys study for the next test without knowing if you passed or failed…

Thanks for the info – that's very encouraging. I take FAR 2 weeks from today and it's also my first exam so it's very helpful to read how others have coped.

The scores for anyone who took the exam October 21 – November 15 are supposed to be released on November 21.
