hello to all,

Today i took my first part of the cpa exam, FAR. i was so nervous when i got to prometric, i was probably trembling. Then the BEAST started…. first testlet i did very good i believe………second testlet was a total devastation, with really long questions and many complex calculations, i probably missed 35% or more on this testlet……. third testlet was between first and second testlet in terms of dificulty…

Now lets go with simulations. First simulation was the most cruel questions i have ever seen (probably got only 30% right). I aced the communications at least. Second sim was so much easier, and also aced the comm.

So in general, do you guys think i have a chance of passing or my chances are ruined by that horrible first sim?

i think you have a decent chance. i had the same experience on my test, my score should come out tomorrow or the day after, hopefully. I will let you know how I fare – and trust me, a lot of people think they failed, but a lot of them (of course not all) get decent scores!

FAR: 8/5/2010 - 89
AUD: 8/24/2010 - 92
REG: 10/11/2010 - 94!!
BEC: 11/30/2010

I was 99% sure I failed that exam, and found out my score today (82)

I was weaker in the sims compared to other candidates. haha, man by the time I got to the sims I had almost given up. Some of the sim tabs I don't know what the hell I was doing…in fact I completed one of them in a way which I thought I was supposed to be doing something totally different.

I'll put it to you this way: I quit the 2nd sim w/ over 20 minutes left. I had not even filled out everything possible on the sim, or tried to figure out better answers. By that time I was sure that I had failed anyways and just basically kind of gave up.

AUD - 81, BEC - 74, 80, FAR - 82, REG - 81

yeah I did the communications. I write very short and to the point communications. Scored comparable on them in both FAR and AUD.

AUD - 81, BEC - 74, 80, FAR - 82, REG - 81

Awesome. Thanks. I'm a little anxious about my Reg score, because I think I did ok on the first simulation, practically didn't do anything in the second simulation. However, I feel I did really well on both communications.

Aud- Pass, BEC- Pass, FAR- Pass, REG- Pass.... Done!
