My review of my REG experience today:

First testlet.. handled it like a boss for sure…. second testlest… got handled like a boss, got my a$$ thrown against a wall and the person kicking it (AICPA) had me watch…. super beat up and tired, took me 45 min to do, most of the stuff I hadn’t ever seen, and the stuff I did see took me forever to try to answer…. third testlest was much much easier than the second, but harder than the first. dont know if it was harder because by this time i was mentally beat up or because it was just harder. I know I made some mistakes on it because I checked some things when I left but oh well, can’t do anything now.

Sims… first sim, aright aright… I can see what they want, did my best… second sim… WTF ARE YOU ASKING FOR!?!?!?! Absolutely had no clue… third sim research, figured my way around that one… fourth sim, handled… fifth sim, handled… sixth sim did all my stuff backwards like an idiot.

Overall I don’t know what to expect, but I know the mistakes I made last time were not made again this time… but I know other mistakes were made. Usually I can remember a lot of the questions after the exam, this time I feel like my mind has been wiped clean… don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing.

Taking tonight off, on to AUD tomorrow.

No idea if this will make you feel better at all, but that description is literally IDENTICAL to how I felt leaving AUD and I got a 93%.

I am, yes. My first testlet was easy, second had probably 15-18 questions on topics I had never heard of, 3rd was more managable but still hard. SIMS – had zero research all very long difficult ones, 2 easy, 2 not bad, 3 horrible. Aud and Reg obviously really different. But I can relate to pretty much everything you described and ended up doing very well so hopefully you did as well. I can definitely say the fact that you felt such a huge change from the 1st to 2nd testlet is a good sign.

Eh, my experience with my second attempt at REG felt EXACTLY the same as my second attempt at AUD. Easy MCQs, but tough Sims that required lots of guessing. But I ended up with an 87 on AUD and a 74 on REG.
