Hi HazeEastwood and/or Other Yeager Users

Thank you for letting me know that we can play Yeager’s lectures at faster speed, but I don’t know how to do it. Can you let me know how to play it back at 1.4 speed? When I play the lectures, I only see it let me change to full screen mode, to increase/decrease the volume and to pause/play the video. But I don’t see an option to play it at as faster speed? Where do I go to do that? Btw, I have the Yeager USB, not the DVD. Will that let me play it at faster speed? Thank you in advance for your help!

cphuang888, It depends on the software. If you are using windows media I couldn't figure out a way to do it with that. I used PowerDVD and all you have to do is click the forward button for it to play at a faster speed

    Hi Herbieherb,

Under default properties, it says type of file: Chrome HTML document. And it says Opens with: Google Chrome. Am I suppose to use a different program? If so, which program should I use to play the video?

Herbieherb, I just saw your reply. So I guess I will need to install PowerDVD in my computer. I will try to do that then. Thank you for your help.

This was In one of my blog posts back in September or October. Use the VLC player. It is free to use and safe. You can increase the speed at small intervals which is helpful since different instructors speak at different speeds. Once downloaded the speed control is in the lower righthand corner.
