Hey all, I am just wondering how you guys usually go about the waiting period until score release & restudying for a section.

I sat for FAR at the end of Q3. It is unlikely that I passed. I literally walked out thinking about all the simple MC I’d missed & I didn’t do all of the SIMs. Therefore, I am not expecting a pass. I wanted to start studying for one of the others to sit in Q4, but I want to make sure to pass FAR before I move on (taking them one at a time); so I am a little unsure of what to do right now. Scores are released 9/22, I believe, & I am still eager although I know it may not be pleasant. But how do yall go about re-studying? I am a little annoyed about it. So I haven’t started back up on anything new or reviewing FAR again.

Should I reread FAR in this pd & just keep doing MC/SIMs? I intend to retake it in Oct, if needed, so I can still try to take AUD or BEC also in Q4, towards the end maybe.. ? Idk..

I took FAR on 7/19. I am currently re-studying FAR as I could feel the result going either way. I didn't want to waste time becasue during the wait AUD expired so if I do fail I have to get FAR and AUD in by 11/30. I wanted to stick with the subject that was I was familiar with instead of starting a new subject just in case.

Hopefully all this studying won't matter for me, but it wasn't worth the risk of waiting.

    AUD - 92
    BEC - 79
    REG - August
    FAR - TBD

I took FAR on 9/8 and decided to just wait until scores are released on 9/19 to start studying again. I know I for sure need to retake AUD, but had taken that way back in May so I don't want to move back to that until I know if I need to retake FAR as well. I really needed a mental break and figured the 10 days between my exam and score release was the perfect time to take that. We only have a few more days until score release, so if I were you and you really feel like you need to keep studying during these few days I would keep reading up on the areas you feel you are weaker in and drill MCQs!

Hoping to get some advice… I posted in another forum but didn't get much feedback..

I took FAR back in April & found out I failed in august. Since the score release time was so long, I moved on to study BEC, which I just took on Sept. 7th. I had rescheduled to take FAR again at the end of October, but now I am second guessing it.

Should I wait to see if I passed BEC or not? If I did not pass should I retake BEC before I retake FAR and push off my FAR retake later on? Or should I study FAR to retake end of october and in the event I failed BEC take that after?

P.S. Since I took FAR so long ago, I feel I need to basically start all over as far as studying goes- probably taking me longer then 4 weeks to prep for it.

    Thanks in advance!

@Bianca-since you are not at risk for losing any credits yet, I would stick with BEC since it's fresh in your mind, and do FAR later…

So, thinking because I was a 4.0 student in both highschool and college that this exam would be easy, I signed up for all four parts at one time. I really wish I would have tried to tackle them one at a time instead. I failed every single one of them. Thankfully the second time around I am doing one at a time. I feel like studying for these sections is equivalent to learning to ride a bike again but at a much slower and more difficult pace. Once you get in the groove of studying a certain topic and all of its sections though it becomes easier the more you do it. Transitioning to another topic basically can cause you to get out of the mindset of the previously studied material thus reverting back to almost pre-study. While I did not take this approach originally, I wish I had.

    BEC: 7/31/16 (Awaiting Results)
    AUD: 9/8/16
    REG: 10/22/16
    FAR: 12/3/16
