Hi everyone. 3 weeks until FAR. I’m a little nervous because I’m slightly changing my study strategy. I have Becker and Ninja notes. I am not re-watching the lectures because it just seems like it’s a waste of my time. I’ve been reading the chapters and re-writing notes which I have found to be EXTREMELY helpful.

I haven’t started doing Multiple choice yet. I was going to do Becker Ch 1-7 (I’m on Ch 5) and do Multiple Choice Friday, Saturday and Sunday (I’ll have 8 hours each day to study). Then next week I was going to do Ch 8 & 9 (the govt/NFP chapters). Then do those multiple choice.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Study tips? I know that I have to “know everything.” 🙂 Any tips would be greatly appreciated! FAR needs to go DOWN!

You are right Misanthrope87. I started doing them today and I feel pretty good. I went ahead and bought the Wiley Test Bank. I just need something different than Becker. I really felt like there was a disconnect when I sat back in January. Not blaming the materials….I just spent way too much time in the details. Within the first 15 minutes of the exam, I knew I missed the big picture. I really feel like the Ninja Notes (and now hopefully the test bank) will help me bring it all together.

Now it's just time to do MC until my eyes bleed!

I just started FAR today and I already felt overwhelmed… I didn't buy Becker but when you do MCQ, do you select Study Mode (meaning it shows you correct answer right away) or do you do it in Exam Mode? I'm not sure which way is better as it's my first section ever. I feel nervous now even though I haven't scheduled the date yet. Good luck to all!

I select study mode because if I get the answer wrong, I write it down (using Jeff's strategy). I have used study mode for every section. But the final two weeks, I do the practice exams so that I can have the “exam” experience.
