Time for a break?

Just started hitting MCQs this week. For the most part I was usually scoring in the mid 60s-low 70s, but this morning I scored the worst score so far out of any testlet. I got a 36%! I could feel during this session my brain just wasn’t into it and was having trouble properly comprehending the question being asked. I’m usually more alert and attentive during these (even in the early mornings) but today my brain was just giving out. Idk if this is a sign my brain needs a break from studying. I’m considering taking the rest of the day off and doing more MCQ tomorrow, but Idk if the whole day is too much. Recommendations?

Assuming your exam is not in the next week, I would definitely take a break today. Your brain is telling you it needs a day off and if you give it one you will probably have a more productive weekend studying.

Yep, take the day off! Your brain will thank you for it. Do something fun and/or relaxing so it really feels like a treat and then get back to studying tomorrow.

When I wasn't feeling it, I would stop and play with my dog, and forget about studying. She is the best dog in the world. Break days are needed and useful.

Yes, I would take a break. Whenever I tried to push myself knowing my brain is not functioning the way it should, I would score low in 40s or 50s. I used to take break, spend time with my wife and kids or go to gym. One day will not hurt but come back next day with a full attack plan, you will be fine.
