So my REG Becker class is ending on Sunday. I’m taking REG on July 3rd. I have three weeks to review, which seems like a really long time. I would rather have two weeks. I feel like seven weeks is too much time between beginning and end, but I want to make the best of it.
As I see it, I have a bunch of options and I was wondering if anyone who has passed REG could give me some advice.
This is my tentative plan:
1. Take a practice test in Becker to see what I’ve retained
2. Rewrite the ninja notes in week 1. (Should I be doing this as a final review in week 3 instead? I dont know)
3. Rewatch the B-Law lectures and do a ton of B-Law MCQs in week 2
4. Take another Becker practice test
5. Rewatch the tax lectures and do a ton of tax MCQs in week 3
6. Eat lots of doritos, drink lot of coke, cry intermittently
7. Take another Becker practice test at the end of week 3
8. Crush REG, see it driven before me, hear the lamentations of its women.
Thoughts? advice? The first time I took REG I was doing it with Bisk books alone and had never take any tax class other than individual (so I was basically trying to teach myself corporate, partnership, estate, gift, etc. for the first time). I already feel so much more prepared than I did then, but I don’t want to get a false sense of security.
