Hello friends.
I have three weeks before my first FAR (and hopefully the last one).
I went through all materials. I am doing MCQ daily, reviewing the right answer carefully. I know that you should not memorize but understand those things.
With that being said please share with me your experince how you managed to retain all information for this exam. I know that I have asked this question before and the genral answer was MCQ and a lot. But come on, people! Every chapter has some valuable techniques and little detials just to memorize.
I feel desparate and anxious and hopeless.

For math part you need to do so many simulation base and mcq that you automatically start doing even if you are not sure how to do it. Basically your hands need to know what to do before your mind. Regarding non math questions, there is always a hint in each answer. Before you answer a question read each question and try to understand why it's wrong, once you start doing that you will start seeing the right answer even if you are not sure about it. For example if question ask about difference between gaap and ifrs, generally you can't do something under gaap but you can under ifrs under right circumstances. There is really no other way to get the material. As always some stuff is just memorization. Lastly it's luck also. Remember they really are testing around 30% of material out of all of that material. If book only spends few paragraph on it, chances are high it will not be tested.
