i am taking my last part (far) wednesday morning. I need to pass before the end of january or i lose audit. I failed far with a 70 in late november. i used becker got 63% of the home work correct and didnt practice any sims, completely skipped ch. 10 and a few smaller topics throughout the the other sections. i completely cleared out my progress for becker and watched 100% of the videos and completed 93% of the hw (obv not on my first try). In addition, i purchased wiley, and am very happy i did so. ive been doing those questions for the last week or so. did about 300+ mc (78%) and all of the sims (minus most of the research) scored about 82% on those. I usually put a lot of pressure on myself and have a tough time sleeping about a week leading up to the exam.. today i didnt do much and i dont plan on doing much tomorrow, im starting to hit a wall and feel like at this point Ive been through everything and rest/ a clear head is my best bet at this point. If i actually studied ch10 for my last exam i wouldve passed.

I know they say you need 75 points to pass (not only making up the 5 i failed by last time), but you would have to think my effort this time around should be enough to pass right? I am so ready for this to be over.

The only good thing about taking this exam, besides getting the license, is that after you take all four parts, you don’t feel smarter than anyone else anymore and you tend to have more respect for others. This exam makes you humble. The word smart was erased from my vocabulary the last time I took this exam. I passed 2 parts in 7 months, and failed Audit with a 74 after studying for 3 month. I spent 10 months studying like crazy for almost nothing. I guess the only ones who will not experience this feeling are those who passed all 4 parts in 4 months. According to my ex-boss, he did it in 4 weeks, so I guess that is why he continues to be an A$$hole with everyone else.

I failed BEC with a 74, but when I went through the MCQs the second time around, it was amazing how much more I understood the material. The first time around I also skimped on topics that I didn't like 🙂

I also do not like the practice tests for the same reason – I used that time to review my notes of crucial points.

well i just got back from far. thought i did ok on the mc, sections def went med, hard, hard. the mc were def tougher this time around than on my last exam and i know i answered a few correct this time around that I wouldnt have done correctly last time.

I thought the sims were absolutely redic. If i had sims from my last test it would have been game over (topic-wise and difficulty-wise). I actually had 2 research questions, i read on here that it happens to some ppl and that one of them is obv the pretest. i got one of the research correct and i believe the other was incorrect ( i took a look when i got home and found a better answer, but its not clear that it really could go either way between the answer i put and the one i think is correct, so well say i put the wrong answer) this leads to me to believe that this one may have been the pretest. I ran out of time on sims put all 0's on my last sim, and think i may have received at least partial credit on the other 4. i guess passing of failing will really come down to which research question they count and how much partial credit i received on the other 5.

i put the effort in needed to pass, no i dont know everything, but tons more than last time. feb. 25 can't come soon enough. I guess ill just relax for now until i find out my score. really dont want to have to take far again and really dont want to have to retake audit after losing it.
