So I pretty much expected to fail but didn’t expect to be this close- a seventy-frickin’-four! It’s enough to drive one mad!!! Gotta reschedule for end of July since BEC will be expiring. I’m determined to enjoy this weekend with my family anyway. Congrats to those who passed their tests and to those who didn’t, just keep on keeping on! We can do this!

So I got my first: ‘why aren't you done already?' line of questioning from a friend. Basically, she asked me whether I really studied during the times I'm absent from get-togethers (she's probably paranoid thinking I'm just trying to avoid her LOL). And “how long have you been studying – hasn't it been a year and a half?”

The funny thing is, there was so much going on when we were chatting, that I didn't even realize what had just happened.

@bhmnrhpsdy – I understand. I just got a 74 on what would have my last exam also. I am embarrassed because I know no one understands!! My grandmother asked if the exam is really that hard. I used up all my patience on her no one else better have a remark like that! My brother recently started working at a CPA firm as IT personnel. All of the sudden he is texting me saying omg everyone here says that exam is a beast. Well glad other people can convince him since he never believed me. Just keep going! There are so many of us with those 74's, We will succeed. We will be CPA's we will get our lives back 🙂

When my husband finally asked what my failing audit score was on Friday night, I told him to guess and my clue was “the second to worst score”. He thought for a second and said, “a 73?”

@littenumberrobot and @nbad311: I think we'd all agree that it sucks even worse because it's our last test!!!

@littlenumberrobot: looks like you and I are on the same sked – I see you've got BEC expiring in July as well. I'd really like to get this over with without having any of my scores expire, it's such an uphill struggle.
