is doing GROUP PROJECTS for school. Yes, I get the point that it is supposed to “teach” you how to deal with slackers and overachievers, to make you prepared for the workplace. By the time you are 41 with 2 kids, and have been in the workplace for over 20 years, theres no benefit of a GROUP PROJECT.

So will one of my kind candidate/victims please write me a note excusing me from group projects for this, my last class ever?

If any single part of this exam depended on a group project, there would be NO CPA’s.

Vent over. Back to Ninja notes.

LOL, you just described my entire MBA experience.

    BEC: 87 (7/13/11)
    FAR: 86 (8/31/11)
    AUD: 99 (10/6/11)
    REG: 88 (11/30/11)
    Ethics: 100
    (Illinois)

Used Becker for all four parts. Supplemented it with Wiley Test Bank for FAR and REG (HIGHLY recommended) and NINJA notes.

If I have to hear one more time, 2 hours before the assignment is due, how “busy” some 26 year old with no kids and is not studying for the CPA exam is, you will see me on the evening news. Mark my words LOL.

Totally agree with you. I had a A for both my midterm and final for intermediate accounting and the group project brought me down to a A- which I was pissed at because my teammates were totally not focused.

LOL. Remember the group assignments; however, it's like that in the workplace too. It will help you become stronger if you don't go crazy first.

But that is exactly the point, it's a graduste level course. We already know how the workplace is. I deal with slackers every day for 9 hours, don't need the reminder. Funny how the older students witth more experience are the ones who carry the weight for the younger students and do you know why? Because work teaches work ethic, not a classroom.
