After watching the lectures and writing my notes and doing Wiley book multiple choice questions, I always get hammered by the (Gleim, Wiley, etc) testbanks because they ask in such tricky ways. Adding to the simple mistakes I make on my own are the questions worded so that which year, or entity it wants, etc. are confusing.
I’m glad to get hammered in the testbanks now and hopefully less on the exam (although I think it must be even more tricky!) I especially like the study session option so that I learn right away from the problem how to do it.
I am choosing every question of a particular topic in the testbank and doing them all, over and over until I can get it right not just by remembering, but making myself do each calculation again correctly. This is taking a long time – I’m going for mastery vs. speed at this point.
