Okay, so I had covered the entire Bisk book with two weeks left before my exam. Honestly, I’ve been doing pretty well I think except for the fact that I forget earlier things. However, after a few trial and error multiple choice, the calculations come back to me. Last week (two weeks before exam day) I decided to review everything I’ve done. I thought I should work all of the multiple choice questions for each chapter. EDIT: I mean to REwork the questions. Obviously, I’ve already worked all of them once and some of them two or more times.

I don’t know if this is working, though. There are over 100 per chapter and 20 chapters and it’s causing me to get a little “burned out” every night which I think is having a negative impact on my material retainage. I’m on chapter 10 right now (at the end of it pretty much). Should I keep doing this? Bisk also has what they call “personal trainer” which uses your scores and AICPA guidelines to give you a personalized study session of questions. The minimum is 30 questions per study session. Should I use that and answer as many 30 question tests as I can over each chapter? OR 30 question tests over all chapters at once?

I’m sorry that this is a fairly long read but please help, fellow exam takers…. 🙁

Hey, rlg. My personal approach is to focus on the specific areas that give me the most trouble rather than taking general practice tests. That said, the general tests are really good for gauging what those problem areas actually are. I would work a few generalized tests, find out your weak areas, then pinpoint those.
