Hi All,

I’m actually at work trying to figure out an international pricing issue. I’m trying to find a list of countries (specifically Brazil and Chile) that have Tax-Inclusive vs. Tax Exclusive pricing policies.

In other words, if you were to take an item off the shelf and buy it, is the tax added once you get to the register (as is the case in the US and Canada), or does the sticker price already cover tax (as is the case in Europe)?

I guess if i am to tie this into the CPA Exam, its important to know for the purposes of calculating gross profit margins 🙂
