I’m going to tackle my first exam this Friday, which unfortunately is FAR :(. I was wondering if I get some advice on time management, SIMS portion, or just anything that will help me in general. I have my NTS printed out, 2 forms of ID, and ear plugs all ready. Does prometric provide scratch paper? I know that sounds like a stupid question. Lol…Thank you all in advance.

Hey everyone,

I'm taking FAR this Saturday and I'm starting to panic! Do you think it would be more beneficial to rest on Friday or review as much as I can?

I'm slightly burnt from these past couple weeks but there's so much info!

Honestly, from my own experience and hearing from others, you should give yourself a day rest and not think about the exam. Getting enough rest going into the exam is crucial. You wouldn't want to be burnt out going into it. I was pretty out of it when leaving the testing center. Taking the day off before the test date helped me a lot because I was pretty burnt out the last week of review.

Take Friday off, get enough rest, eat breakfast, and kill the exam!!!

Thanks CPAski! Congratulations on passing FAR. I'm a stress-ball by nature so the only thing that calms me down is cramming information until exhaustion. I just want to take it already, regardless of the outcome…a >75 would be nice though!

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me sometimes. It's just how I'm wired lol

I think I will rest up tomorrow. It's funny because all of my friends are excited to party during Memorial Day weekend. I'm excited to catch up on my sleep! I'm will hibernate until work on Tuesday lol
