Hey everyone who is taking FAR on the 28th of February. I was just seeing what your study habits are now until then. I am wrapping up rewriting the NINJA notes, finished all my MCQs from Becker yesterday and about to start all the MCQ from the Wiley test bank. Then once I finish those, try and go through all the SIMs in Becker and then make sure I go to AICPA’s website and do the sample test for FAR, its only a few questions, but on other exams, I have gotten the same question word for word.

What about you?

I plan on finishing writing the ninja notes, working as many MCQs as I can and trying to do as many sims as I can as well. Ideally I'd also like to review video lectures trouble areas and try to watch Yaeger cram again. My issue is that I work in public accounting, so I'm having to cut back on sleep as it is to get my 5 or so hours of studying a day. I feel like that time won't be enough for me. Do you guys think there's any benefit in further cutting my sleep for the next couple days to up my study hours? Common sense tells me it could be a bad idea but I'd like some input.

Yes i think it will benefit you! Every minute counts

Just make sure you have a nice sleep on the 27th(at least 7hrs?)

My friend doing the same thing you're doing (sleeping less than 5hrs a day)

I never did anything like that and i think it's amazing what she can do. She's so committed. I give her big credit for her hard work.

Now i need to study!!!!!! I've been slacking so bad lately

@13th, the passing scores of your first 3 parts show pretty consistent. What happened with your FAR and how are you preparing now for your next attack of this part?

My final passing score looks consistent but i had lot of ups and downs on the way.

This is my 13th attempt sitting for exam all together

Like my reg, i got 52? Before i received 79

And 59 on my last far, i thought i was prepared but now that i find many new things that i donno as i restudy far.. I wasnt even near prepared x.x

Plus i barely read any textbook back then. This time, i read book throughly and took notes down.

I still need to work on mcq and memorize lot of things..

@Amor…i don't think i was going to do the becker final exams because i mean its a lot of time to spend when I can be spending it on reworking MCQ's. Especially because I won't be receiving instant feedback when I take those tests.

@jasonrobbins..yeah i know I hope I can get through all of this before then. This is my wish list. I mean when I say to go through all the SIMS i mean not to actually attempt every single one, but to review the question and see why the answers make sense. Also I don't plan on doing the two final exams from Becker. To much time to spend on something when the scores you get don't accurately reflect the scores you actually get on the exam, in my opinion. Also, I actually finished rewriting my ninja notes today during lunch!

This is definitely going to be a very long weekend! Lucky my weekend starts tonight! Good luck everybody!!
