Ok so I am taking FAR next Monday and I’m not going to lie, I’m getting pretty nervous. Been through the chapters three times, homework three times (with the exception of one or two supp. questions…only did those twice), doing the practice tests at the end of the week, went through the sims, and read through the notecards. I am probably going to read through the chapters once more and then take the practice tests.

I think I am doing alright on the homework. It is just so much material to absorb and I feel like I am missing questions that I should be getting right. Does anyone out there feel, or felt, the same way as I do. This is my last section and I want to conquer this beast SO BAD!!!!! Thanks for your input.

You have put in the time and energy. The practice tests should give you the feedback you are looking for. You should be going into the exam feeling that you have done your part and just pray that the Beast asks what you know and the sims focus on fair topics that have been covered by the review material.

How long have you been studying? How many hours.

Be sure to up date us and give your feedback after the exam.

I have confidence in you. Yake a deep calming breath and think of that passing grade you will get in a couple of months 😉

It sounds like you are using Becker. I just took the exam after studying Becker and I had the same feelings as you before the exam. However, once I started taking the exam and answering questions, it became clear to me that Becker had done me well, despite my self doubt. It's like I was just doing a set of 90 new Becker questions.

Go through your questions, take the practice exams, review big areas one last time, and you'll be set.

    cpa journey,

I have been studying consistently since May 16th with Becker. Yeah, I have taken some days off but for the most part I am studying everyday. I am not sure how many hours I have put in, but if I had to guess I would say at least 150 hours. I am going through the chapters once more and then taking the practice exams. I just hope that will get in there and be able to answer those questions. I feel that the Becker HW questions are a little bit harder than the actual exam questions so I guess I have that going for me.

Repetition is a good thing in learning. Each time you go through material the concepts are reenforced. When you take the exam all the hard work pays off . During the exam you will know the correct answer more frequently instead of selecting an answer from two good choices. it will save you time that will perhaps give you a few extra minutes for the sims & communication. Max the MCQ points and you are in a good position. You ave done your part – hopefully the Beast will be fair! Best of luck to you. Let us know how you do!
