I was just thinking I havent seen any post’s about taking breaks during the different exams. For me I based if I could take a break or not on the becker final exams. I think this really helps me relax to have a break planned going into the test. For audit I took a 5-10 minute break and had I used all my time on the last sim. For BEC I had about 8 minutes extra and felt there is no time available for a break.

I am taking FAR in 3 days and as of right know I’m planning on about a quick 5-8 min bathroom, bannana, and water break.

I would love to hear other peoples strategies

    Good luck to everyone

    AUD 89
    BEC 84
    FAR 87
    REG 94!! ALL DONE

I'm not planning on taking any breaks (im taking it this Friday). Thats just me though…I'll just want to get it done! With that said, any tips on how else to study for me? Today has been a rough day studying and im forgetting alot of the stuff I previously had nailed down 🙁 I know Im gonna watch Govt NFP over again but other than that any tips? I dont have the Final Review software from Becker

    FAR (10/15/10) = 94
    AUD (11/24/10) = 89
    BEC (5/20/11) = 87
    REG (8/23/11) = 78

As far as study stragegy I am pretty laid back. I like to give my self plenty of time and try to observe as little stress as possible. Stress is the enemy of the memory! I take breaks and then try to hit the books again with new energy. I know with only 3 day left there not much time for “relaxing” but that is my general advice on the tests.

    AUD 89
    BEC 84
    FAR 87
    REG 94!! ALL DONE

I didn't take breaks on any section. AUD had plenty of time for one if I wanted and I had no time fears going into it. REG I could have taken a break, but I had no idea how much time I would have going into it. BEC was too short a time to risk a break although I ended up with time for one at the end if I had wanted. FAR I ran out of time as it was.

I have taken breaks about 2-5 mins to run out go to the bathroom and get some more water, but I usually test fast and never felt rush. I would say the best thing is to spend about 45 sec's – 1 min per mcq and then move on, mark it and then come back and estimate to spend 30-45 mins per testlet on the first 3 testlets. You should all do fine if you have been studying…. Best of luck!

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96
