Now when I started studying, I feel lost in lectures and sequenxe to topics is that normal if anyone has any experience of switching materials? I still have time to cancel and buy becker again. Please advise if switching material is a bad idea? Thank you I am confused now.

Did you study for a total of 2 and a half week? If so, you need more time. The material wouldn’t be the problem with that small of a study window. Granted, I’m not fan of Becker. If your new to CPA, I would study FAR for atleast 2 months, maybe more.

Agreed – your material isn’t the problem, you’re not giving yourself enough time. Did you seriously make it through all of the Becker material in the 2.5 weeks you studied for FAR? Wiley materials has a roadmap of what order to study the materials in – follow it. Use their exam planner.

Thank you so much for the response, yes agreed i was not able to cover the material that is why i failed it was not material. I decided to buy Wiley for change but now i am feeling lost may be due to different layout of the material in wiley as compare to Becker. Should i keep studying or switch back to Becker i am really confused now in between any recommendation i really want to pass this time. Thank you everyone in advance, if you have any other suggestions for preparation i would really appreciate.

Having A study system is key. Which one depends on your learning style. Bot, most if not all of the top study materials have the stuff you need to pass. It comes down to dedication and time management. If you put in the time, and do your due diligence with the study materials, then you're in good shape.

I always recommend you try the free trial periods for all the providers you can.
Gleim, Roger, Wiley, Ninja, Surgent – they all offer some type of trial period.
Try the free trials and see which one fits your learning style the best, see which one you enjoy most.
Considering you will have at least 300-400, and possibly many more hours invested in the review materials, you should find one you enjoy using.

    Research first, then buy… always.

Free trial periods are great but customer feedback is crucial. I wasn't able to detect Wiley's software platform issue during my 2 week free trial period. I was already 6 weeks in and then started experiencing problems on my own. I do have plans to combat this issue once I finish these exams. I feel that a lot of sites have failed in providing honest feedback or maintaining up to date feedback on these CPA review courses.

All these CPA review courses are designed to help you pass the exam if you put in the time and effort. Don't try to switch the material just because you failed FAR after studying for only two and a half weeks..like everyone here said, pick a review course that suits your learning style (i.e. if you get bored easily, then try RogerCPA or if you like to self-study, then try Gleim), and then stay consistent with whatever study plan you would come up with.

Note – FAR has the most materials to cover so give yourself at least 6-8 weeks if this is your first time studying and not working full-time. I would be surprised to see anyone spend less than 3 weeks and pass FAR given it's his/her first exam. Hope this helps.

I went through the same what materials to use merry go round. My biggest problem was after I spent money, I didn't have money to spend again, so I went NINJA. I agree with the others, you most definitely have to make a plan and stick with it. You know your lifestyle and what it entails, So at least try to go through the materials. If you have to cram, use the mcq's, sims, and test banks to the max. Sometimes the reading is boring, the lectures are long and boring so you might have to rely on the repetition of question and answers.

    It begins with a 75
Been here too long as a cheerleader....ready to pass

I recommend Wiley or Gleim. Gleim is cheaper and would be my choice. Can't go wrong and they have a 20% off sale now, I think. I would get the package that does not expire until you pass
