So I’m using Becker and I’ve studied and taken Reg (still waiting on a score…) and am now studying for FAR and I was wondering is there any way I can get more clarification on topics I’m rusty on? Is there some place that provides free or cheap but quality exam practice/ help that I can use in conjunction with Becker? I’m honestly starting to think Becker isn’t the best. It doesn’t explain things well at all or at least in a way that helps me remember the material.

” It (Becker) doesn't explain things well at all or at least in a way that helps me remember the material.”

Welcome to the Becker Club of “not totally satisfied customers!” I have used both Becker and Yaeger on all four exams after I failed FAR the first time with an old version of Becker and a current version of Gleim Online.

The only thing that is free is “CPA REVIEW FOR FREE.” Go to their website for free multiple choice questions.

I passed FAR the second time by using Yaeger's Home Study. It only costs $345 plus $10 shipping with Jeff's discount. Do Yaeger's course first and then come back with Becker. Becker will make a lot more sense after you finish Yaeger. Yeager is a true teaching course for those of us who are weak in FAR.

If you still have trouble on a particular topic, order Bob Monette's Hot Spots (Bisk).

I wish someone had told me this information before I lost a year struggliung with Becker and Gleim for FAR! I had to learn from my mistakes. Now you can learn from my mistakes.

Thanks 75 CPA! Would you recommend getting all four parts of Yaeger to study with in conjunction with Becker or just for FAR?
