Just got an email from NASBA, says, “Scores from test results that were received day 1 – 20 by the AICPA were scheduled to be release on November 5th. The release of these scores will be delayed approximately one week or more” ……

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

@nimmle02- Why don't you get off your self-righteous high horse. Obviously everybody here knows there are more important things than score results but we are still inconvenienced and the point of this forum is to have a place to blow off steam. News flash- nobody put you in charge of this forum. It's not your responsibility to come in and be everybody's moral police. So shut up and stop being suck a little asswhole.

y'all probably already heard, NASBA extended window for a week. So scores should be out by next friday! πŸ™‚ I doubt if scores are delayed for more than one week.

@spongfunk – wow… that was quiet a rude and unnecessary comment to @nimmle02 in my opinion… everyone obviously has mixed emotions about the scores being delayed, but there is so reason to jump down their throat…

Seems like your name should be spongpunk πŸ™‚

Can't we all just get along πŸ™‚ Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and nobody should bash anyone else for voicing it. Each side of the argument is understood. I'm waiting for my AUD score and at the same time live in NY so I can definitely see both sides of the argument. I'm glad that my family and I are all ok and at the same time frustrated that my score didn't come out today. The score release has been delayed and really all we can do is voice our displeasure and wait. So I don't think anyone can be bashed for saying how upset they are at the delay and no one should be bashed for bringing up the whole “more important things in life” argument. Both should be freely voiced here. It's a CPA forum and we are all here with the same goals in mind so let's stick together… Now if this were a mix of CPA candidates and law candidates then I would be like “Shut the hell up attorney wannabe!” LOL

@ I want my life back 10.12: that's a good one. I shouldn't be surprised by your unbearably witty response. I knew you must be clever when I saw your Audit score.

I think everybody would be much more accepting of the situation if the AICPA could be a little more open about when they will release the scores. “Approximately one week or more” is very vague to a guy like myself who has been waiting since October 1, and only needs this last score to have my name cleared by my state board by their final meeting of the year on November 14th. I know my problem is nothing compared to what people back east are going through, but this is the culmination of a very long process, and I would really like to know if I will get my score in time to make the meeting deadline. While I'm only listing one set of scores below, it took me a very long time to get through FAR. I was 2 points away five years ago and lost two sections. Took a little break, took Becker, and now I just want to know!

    FAR – 90

    AUD – 80

    REG – 91

BEC – Took on 10/1/12, waiting!!!

@spongfunk – you do you insist on being so rude and out of line? And bashing someone's score is beyond crossing the line on the this forum… we all work really hard and give up a lot of our lives for this exam… You must have a pretty miserable life and some issues to work through if you've resorted to being a bully on Another71.com. Sorry I didn't get a perfect 80 on audit like you did…

You can always tell the difference around here around score release week. Here come the inevitable digs about people's past scores. Check out my first score on AUD, lol! Big deal, I'm a CPA now.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I understand the frustration of having to wait another week, but there has been much damage from this hurricane and many people have died. I would think for a situation like this that you should be grateful you are safe and will get your score. Waiting an additional week isn't going to affect you in the long run but this hurricane has ended lives and changed families forever. You on the other hand will not care about that extra week 5 years from now when you are a CPA. However, Glenda Moore will never forget loosing her sons as she tried to flee from the hurricane and they slipped from her grip when a wave ripped them out of her arms. They were 2 and 4 years old. This will haunt her for the rest of her life. To top it off, her neighbors wouldn't help her find her children. Could you imagine what she must have felt like panicking for her children and then her requests for assistance from her neighbors denied? Think about that next time you worry about waiting a week for your CPA exam score.

NJ was hit hard by this storm and that's where the test reviews occur so it makes sense there is a delay.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt

@I want my life back 10.12: I agree, I was out of line, but I was frustrated and to see your comments digging at me and calling me a punk set me off. So as long as you don't call me a punk then I will not bash your score. Deal?

I asked the AICPA on Friday via email if there were any updates on release dates and got a response saying no specifics are available yet. Starting to feel like they lost the exams. Grr!!!

Apparently the AICPA just tests on data backup and hot sites and cold sites but doesn't implement them.

I understand how frustrating it can be to wait for a score a few extra days when you were expecting to receive it sooner. However, it really is a small point in the grand scheme of things.

What is ridiculous, is that the AICPA had zero contingency plan in place. They knew the hurricane was coming and an organization the size of the CPA should have some sort of data recovery plan in place.

Hi guys… I took my AUD test on October 20th (between month days 1 and 20). This day happened to fall on a Saturday. Does anyone know if I should be expecting my score in the first batch or the second batch?
