Does anyone here have experience studying with a partner? aka watching lectures together, discussing the information learned and clarifying questions. If so was it effective?

I know that I learn best when I interact with a person and speak things out. This is hard for studying for the CPA test because most courses are lectures.

I would be interested in studying with someone in this way. I’m in northern NJ and have the yaeger course for FAR. I am looking to take the test mid October and am free for most of the day most days.

If you live in or can get to northern NJ on a daily basis and are interested in studying this way. Please let me know. My email address is gsim84@gmail.com

    Thanks!

I always hated studying with a partner. I find it not very productive, but that's just my experience. If you do find a study partner, try not to socialize too much, focus on the subject matter and avoid the chit-chatting.
