Hello everyone,
I’ve begun my studying for FAR recently, I just graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a major in accounting.
I’m having some trouble assessing when I should be doing MCQ’s? I just watched the first video of Yaeger and Basic Concepts, and I have to say I am really impressed with the videos. I feel like I understood the material, but it took me really long to watch the video while taking notes. About 3.5 hours for 1.5 Hours of video. Is this normal?
Also, I moved onto the next video with Phil Yaeger for Error Correction. Should I have done MCQ’s off Wiley before this? Or should I wait to complete the first set of Module 9 and then do MCQs for all 3 sections?
Also, I bought NINJA Notes and Flashcards, but when should I be using these? I feel like if I just start writing and rewriting the notes now, I’ll just be writing down stuff I haven’t learned yet or fully understand, since the NINJA notes are notes for everything in FAR.
I’ll be taking FAR in July, probably around 7/18, because I want to give myself 2 months for FAR, and then start REG and finally BEC.
I begin my Staff Auditor Job in September, because I wanted to take some time off to pass the CPA.
Please advise me! Thanks guys.
