Hello everyone!
I have a little over five weeks left before I take FAR. This is my first section so I’ve made a few mistakes. I graduated in May, went for a long vacation, and then started working in tax for a big 4 in July. I started studying around that time, but I’m still only on chapter 6 of 10 in Becker. I can’t push my schedule back because my NTS is expiring. I realize now that studying while being a new hire in tax during busy season was not a good idea..However, I’m trying to not give up and accept defeat just yet. I’m trying to optimize my remaining time to score that winning 75. My current study plan is to go by section and read the textbook, watch the videos, do the MCQ and sims, then repeat. Because the two are pretty similar, I’m thinking of cutting out either the videos or the textbook and only refer to the other when I need more understanding on a particular topic. Do you guys recommend reading the book vs watching the videos to prepare me for the MCQs and sims? (My preference towards visual/auditory changes depending on a topic so that’s why I’m open to either.)
