When I left the test in October, I thought the SIMS were what was going to cause me not to pass, but according to my score notification, I was weaker on the MCQ and comparable on the SIMs.
I’ve studied with Becker and have done the entire program twice for FAR. The last time I studied, I even took my own notes for each chapter as I went through the lectures and then reviewed those notes along with reworking my marked questions (taking additional notes on questions I got wrong). I take REG Dec 3rd, so I’ll only have a month to review FAR again before I sit for it in January (I’d give myself more time to study but busy season starts in January).
I’m not really sure about the best way to go about studying again- I was thinking I’d review my notes and work the marked questions in Becker and supplement with Wiley test bank. I also bought the NINJA notes, but I feel at this point that they just might confuse me. I’m nervous because I only have 4-5 weeks to prepare for it, but the holidays fall in those weeks, so it’s going to be even harder to focus. Not to mention the added pressure of knowing that if I don’t pass this, I have to retake a part I’ve already earned credit for (BEC).
Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
