I have to retake Audit and take Reg for the first time before my Far expires on Jan 21 (Just recently passed BEC). Any study suggestions for me for the next five weeks? I have Reg scheduled for Jan 19 and have started watching the Yaeger lectures (8 modules done so far) and Audit scheduled for Jan 6. My audit scores from last year were a 50 and a 58 and then my most recent retake two weeks ago I scored a 70. I had to take 9 months off from CPA because of a change in positions with my company and decided to get back into it before my Far expires.

Have you thought about using a cram for Audit? Most crams are shorter, which helps! I liked Roger for Audit, his cram is 8 hours. I have heard that Yaeger cram is great, Gary Bulmash is the instructor. I used Roger, so I can't give details on Yaeger. I thought that roger was still teaching on the cram, so there was alot of details in his approach. IMO.

I also rewrote my notes last time on Audit and felt it really helped. There are so many details!!

I would stop watching the videos and jump into MCQs. Do non stop MCQs. I watched only the tax portion of the Yaeger videos. I didn't watch the business law…then I did non stop MCQs until it was test time. Since you don't have a lot of time don't waste it watching videos. You'll get a lot more out of those MCQs. That is just my opinion.

I originally used becker when I got the 50 then used yaeger cram for audit last year and went from a 50 to a 58. I did the full yaeger audit this time and got the 70. I went ahead and purchased the roger cram after watching some of his sample videos I like the way he teaches. Maybe that will get me over the top.

I only have about 2 hrs of Business law videos left. Guess I can skip that and move on to Tax.
