Hi!

I take my FAR exam on Aug 24 and have been debating on purchasing Jeff’s notes. I am on lesson F7 right now and have gone through and handwritten notes to each chapter I’ve completed so far. I’ve also printed off all the Becker notes that come with each chapter and reviewed those. Would it be redundant to pay the money for Jeff’s notes or sufficient to use Becker’s and my own? I realize anything extra can’t hurt. I just don’t want to overload myself with notes if I already have a sufficient amount.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. FAR is already driving me crazy and I just want to knock it out on my first go-around!

Jeff's notes are a good supplement. Breaks topics down into easy to remember bits and has a scattering of examples. It works well with an intensive study of actual MCQs to practice the concepts with. I'm not an accounting major and only recently started working in govt auditing, I also lacked quality accounting classes so I've had to teach myself the basics. I use Jeffs notes to supplement my Becker and Wiley MCQs. It worked extremely well for REG. I will pass FAR and BEC this year.
