I just finished a twelve hour day studying for REG. My eyes were sticking together and by the time I finished listening to my last section, I was laying my head on the kitchen table just trying to get through it. As Danny Glover would say in Lethal Weapon “I am too old for this s—“.

    AUD- 64,78

    BEC-68,66,71,75

    REG-55,64,68, May 4th

    FAR?

So, let me start off by commending you for working your tail off today. That is awesome you are putting forth that kind of effort. I've got to admit though, I'm not sure I could study for 12 hours in a single day and have the same success as studying for three hours a day for four days. Do you feel like every hour you put in today was a quality hour? Do you feel that you will be able to retain everything you went through today? I've mentioned a few times how much I believe in quality vs. quantity. I'd hate for you to spend so much time studying, but not retain the info because you overloaded your brain today. I'm not saying this is what you did today. I just wanted to bring it up so that you and others can take a look at your study methods to make sure you are maximizing your time and efforts.

Thanks Mini. I got in some really good quality time. I don't do this every Saturday but I am going to be really busy at work the next couple of weeks(six 990's due Friday and several quarterly financials the next week) and won't have much study time during the week, so I thought I would do as much as I could today.

I'm embarrassed, but I'm only gonna get in 2 tonight. Just couldn't focus…or wake up. ><

I did about 6 good hours, redid my homework on Leases just to refresh, reviewed notecards I've made over the last few days, re-read F8 & F9 and re-did the NFP homework. And now I'm cruising on cpareviewforfree.com!

@candothis, GREAT JOB!! I put in a ton of hours too knowing that Easter is tomorrow and that I'd like to spend a little quality time with my family. I studied for FAR: 10+ hours. Going to bed. Exhausted.

I'm gonna be completely honest, I only studied about an hour. HOWEVER, I did use my time productively working on assignments for a grad class that's due this week. This was a preemptive measure in order to clear out my entire week starting Monday leading up to the exam for preparation and so forth.

@mini, my hour of studying was productive and definitely stressed quality over quantity. I only say as much because I fear your wrath, nearly as much as I fear the wrath of the exam.

Wish I was asked this earlier. I put in a pathetic hour(quality hour). So now I have to borrow time from tomorrow morning and get 3 in tonight =(. This is so bad.

@mgo, Good luck with your test on Monday!

only a few hours, Saturday was the big Easter church thing for our family so I'm sad about not many study hours. But today is sunny and another chance to do 6-8 hours, with brunch in the middle of the day with some friends. I actually like the review process and feel bad when I can't get to it. I really want this to be over 🙂
