Did anyone experience SIMs with difference material in each tab? I didn’t think the SIMs would be liek that. I thought the SIMs would all be ont the same subject. Every tab was different on both SIMs which made things in my opinion more time consuming.

@Haze – I can't quite remember back that far…. (pretty much did a brain dump) but I know in my studying I had some and they are definitely more time consuming since its not all related…. how do you think you did other than sims?

All my 4 sims (FAR and AUD) were like yours, no situation tab (or empty) and all tabs were unrelated.

I liked it more that way. Didn't have to spend 10 minutes reading a long situation tab and also I found the single unrelated tabs to be pretty easy or not extremely difficult. In AUD I had so much time left for the sims that I could easily check most tab answers by using (abusing is the right word eheh) the research tab.

I was doing well on the MCQ, My first testlet was easy, second was harder, third extremely hard. I think I got by them fine. But the SIMs completely threw me. I struggled. I got one research that I am sure was right and one of my essays was decent. The other was somewhat poor. The tabs just had things that appeared easy until i read it and it had twist that I had not seen in my preperation for the test. Also, some things that I had never seen before. Quite depressing. I not sure I passed because of the SIMs

@Haze – If you did that well on the MCQs you probably have a decent shot in passing. There has been a lot of people on here that either didn't do tabs/simulations and still passed

On REG and (3) FARs, I never once had a situation tab with anything in it. All tabs were independent topics.

every single tab was different for me for both FAR and AUD, no common situation.

I took FAR a couple of weeks ago and same thing… ALL unrelated tabs.

I was not expecting this. Especially because I used Becker and their SIMS were all related tabs. From my point of view it was ridiculous. We are talking about tabs each with long situations. Only reading each situation took me over 5 minutes!

I had the same experience you all describe. Both sims with unrelated tabs which totally threw me off! I did both communications (short responses but to the point) and both research tabs (seemed straightforward so I hope I got them both), but except for one tab, all the others on both sims had me guessing completely! My consolation in the past 7 weeks since I took the exam (7/1) has been all of the posts here by people who either left entire sims blank or completely guessed and still passed…

@michelle119, I hope I did well. After the 2nd testlet, I was thinking where is this big bad FAR exam I had been hearing about. Well I got my answer on the 3rd testlet and SIM, lol!!!
