I know we arent allowed to talk about exact questions on the test etc etc but i have my test this Saturday eeekkk :/!! I was wondering what topics people think are best to go over for Sims im going over MCQs pretty religiously across the board and using note cards but im not sure what SIMS are best to focus on and are most likely to be seen. Any suggestions or recommendations?

I don't think it's useful to focus on any particular topic, because anything is fair game in the exam. But
if there's a topic you're struggling with, practicing sims can be a good way to nail it down. You might practice a handful of sims from a few of the “big” topics, at least to familiarize yourself with the process and how you will manage your time and work through it. It's not gonna necessarily prepare you for what you'll see in the exam, but it doesn't hurt to have some practice under your belt. The only thing that will really prepare you is knowing the material thoroughly!

check out the FAR exam blueprint on the AICPA website. Representative tasks that require analysis and evaluation skills will be SIMs that can possibly be on the exam. Application skills can be MCQs or SIMs on the exam.

Just nail MCQs over and over again – this will transfer to the test. The only time I failed an exam was when I spent time studying the SIMS (73 on Reg). Just my two cents
