hi all, it is my first time to post here. Any response would be highly appreciated from my heart!!!

my question is :does the system memorize the times you have been retaking the section before?  In other words, the more times you attempted, the more difficult questions the system will give you?

the reason i asked this is that, i took FAR yesterday, the 1st testlet was hard!!!! it came out with all complicated concept questions and fancy long calculations!!! so are the 2nd testlet and 3rd testlet!!! all the three testlet are about the same difficulty level! crazy! it was so time consuming and i was struglling with all the three testlets and around half of them i am not 100% sure with and had to make a guess. And after 3 testlets, i had only 45 minutes left for simulations and it was such a disaster!

While this was my second try since the first try failed with 69. But the fist time i got pretty much normal experience like everyone else, the 1st testlet was easy to death, the 2nd was hard and 3rd was just little bit easier than 2nd or the same.

I seriously want to know now that does the system memorize the times we retook before? how come i got 1st testlet so difficult? it’s so unfair!!! i have to start prepare again and retake in July….

Just got back from FAR. I thought my first teslet was difficult with lots of calculations. The second wasn't as hard as I expected and the third was pretty easy. I know what that means: that I will continue to study!

One of my communications was the same as last time, and so were two of my tabs. I will be shocked if I did better than last time because I just wasn't prepared.

My head hurts. Me and Jose Cuervo will now head to the beach.

    Not really CPAwannabe!
    I felt the same way
First hard then easy and then hard. However, I haven't received my scores for this window. Good luck and atleast its over for now!

CPALife – I think you can get enough points from two ok simulations to pass as long as your MCs were good. You only need a few points to get the magical 75 if your MCs were good.

I have been reading everyone's posts, and it sounds very similar to my experience.  I took FAR today and felt like I was very well prepared.  I am using Becker and went through all questions at least twice.  I expected the first testlet to be easy, but it hit me like a brick.  Almost exactly like some of you are saying.  It seemed like all of the testlets were pretty hard to me.  There was a lot of short to average questions, though, with a few really long ones thrown in.  Even as hard as they were, I think they still may not have been the very difficult testlets.  The whole experience was very frustrating.  I was hit with so many topics I knew well only to have it twisted in a weird way I haven't seen, leaving me usually choosing between two answers.  Surprisingly, the simulations were not all that bad except for maybe two tabs.  I felt like I was going to fail as I was taking the test.  This was all after coming off of a 74 received two days ago from my audit test.  After reviewing my book, I may have gotten more right than I thought but I would still be surprised if I passed.  Has anyone taking FAR had a similar experience like this and ended up passing?  I'm just wondering if it's possible at this point.

“I was hit with so many topics I knew well only to have it twisted in a weird way I haven't seen, leaving me usually choosing between two answers.”

I know what you mean, I hate that so much.

For what I’ve read they evaluate the difficulty of the questions. So if you answered the more difficult stuff successfully and let’s say those weird twisted questions were pretests or most people got them wrong I would say it is possible.
