I have seen a few posts in the past few days where people said their score report indicated what they were stronger/weaker on and they got a passing score. I thought you didn’t get a score report unless you didn’t pass. Where can I access mine?

    AUD - 88
    FAR - 90
    REG - 85
    BEC - 88

Hi Katie – I had that same question a few weeks ago so I called both NASBA and the AICPA. Neither one was very helpful or detailed, but from what I was able to piece together from the responses, it appears that Texas is the only state that releases score reports to passing candidates. And from what someone at the AICPA told me, those passing scores in Texas are just being compared with other TX candidates and not with everyone else who takes the exam. I'll try to find the thread I started on this topic awhile back.

Texas releases these reports regardless of whether you pass or fail. They are always available after you get your score.

    AUD: Pass
    BEC: Pass
    FAR: Pass
    REG: Pass - I'm DONE!

Ok, thanks guys! I've been off the board except for about once a day, cramming for FAR, so I missed that thread.

I'm in TX and the score report is always released at the same time they post your score on the TX site. TX isn't a NASBA state so I'm not sure how it works with NASBA's site.

We get it in CA as well. The comparison is to national candidates, not just interstate candidates.

In Tn there is only a report if you fail. Kind of a bummer, because I would love to see how things changed to a pass!

I believe they don't give passing scores any feedback so that you can't go to your friends and say “this is what I answered for these questions and look at how good I did. Make sure you do the same as me.”
