Scoping out FAR?

    Currently, I am studying for FAR and plan to take it on 7-11-14. However, I am thinking of also scheduling it for the end of May. The reasoning for this is that first, I might just get lucky and pass. And second, even if I do not pass, I will still get a feel for the exam and still be ready to take it on my original date of 7-11-14. Would this be a good idea? (I have taken FAR over a year ago on 4-6-13).

    Edit: Just checked seating availability, the latest I can schedule it is on Q2 is on a Thursday. This doesn’t sound as enticing now lol.

    If you already took it a year ago you probably wouldn't gain much from another scouting mission. Though it might be worth taking it again this window as a legit attempt, as long as you are willing to pay the fees. Can't hurt, and you might get lucky.

    Well if you're going to scope it out, doesn't seem like you need to do any testing on it at all!

    I wouldn't. I don't think it serves any purpose to take a test just for the heck of it. You've already taken it once so you know what it's like. Just keep studying and get yourself ready for 07/11

    A seat on May 31 just opened up. Got nothing to lose except half a day and two hundred and fifty dollars. Recon mission is a go.
