Hello everybody, I recently failed FAR and I am trying to retake the exam in November. Here is my question:

To reapply, all I do is print out an application and remit the $50 retake fee correct?

No transcripts or other info needed? And how long will this take? Will it be another 8 weeks to receive my new ATT for my FAR retake?

    Thanks for the input.

    CPA for the win,

To reapply, you just need to print out the new remittence form (sign it) & mail out with $50 check.

No need to re-send the transcripts and stuff if previously approved.

I just sent off mine at post office. No score for me yet though.

Just met a friend in Cali who failed AUD and reapplied. She said it only took a week or so to get the ATT.

Probably they realized that it was insane to make re-applications stand on the regular line and they approve them right away, especially with the Oct-Nov'10 window being the last one with the old cbt test.

    FAR - 7/26/10 - 95
    AUD - 8/10/10 - 88
    BEC - 8/31/10 - 88

Thanks for all the feedback. I mailed in the $50 and the re-application fee printed out from the board's website this morning. Hopefully by the end of next week, everything will be ready to go.

Target date for the FAR retake is is the very last possible date… November 30th! haha

Yea – agree with what everyone just said. My reapplication went through VERY quickly. It's the initial applications that are taking 6+ weeks.
