I have Wiley CPAExcel. I’m on “Specific Transactions, events, etc”-subtopic Acquisition Method. My test in on May 11th (about 47 days). I haven’t had a lot of time to review everything else I’ve gone through and I’m not 100% grasping some of the topics. That or I forget them when going back to them :/. The note-taking takes forever!!

    I usually:

Read the book or slideshow, write notes on those, compare my notes to Ninja Notes, do Ninja MCQ. I have Wiley Test Bank but I like Ninja MCQ better.

Do I have enough time to keep trucking along with the notes? Or should I go light on the notes and do a ton of Ninja MCQ?

    FAR- 5/11/15 76!!
    AUD-10/31/15 63, 84!
    REG-7/12/16 72
    BEC-8/31/15 75!! Perfect Score!

    Wiley CPAExcel Platinum
Ninja 10 pt combo for FAR/AUD/BEC

I am not a good note taker. I think it takes too much time. You have Ninja notes, keep reading those, and maybe create flip charts or flash cards? My second room has nothing but charts pasted all over the walls. The difference is that I am only jotting down information that I struggle to remember. With notes, I feel like I am just typing everything over and over again.

I use CPAExcel with Ninja notes/audio, Ninja MCQ and WTB. You have already made a smart decision not to watch the boring, awful videos in CPAExcel. I would do tons of MCQs, but I would not dismiss WTB. I actually didn't use Ninja MCQ for FAR, but found WTB to be very good. I actually found CPAreviewforfree questions gave me a different perspective and were very helpful, so I would add that test bank. For example, I was struggling heavily with Bonds Payable Amortization, and CPAReviewforfree made it easy.

Good luck on FAR. I already forgot everything. REG is so tough…

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 75
    BEC - 75
    REG - 76

Now I need some experience!!! And some networking...
