Revaluation Method – need clarification

    Hello Guys,

    Is the Revaluation Method permitted for indefinite life intangible assets (other than goodwill)?

    I have a fairly old Keiso accounting book and it says that Revaluation Method is only permitted for Finite Life Intangibles. Compared to the Becker Review for revaluations, it does not mention whether Revaluation Method is permitted for both Finite and Indefinite Life Intangibles. It just says “intangibles”

    Please clarify. Thank you!
