So I found out I failed AUD this morning. I was planning on getting REG started, but part of me wants to just start hitting AUD again while the material is fresh and take it again in Jan. I really thought I had passed so now I’m mad and want to get at it again pronto. Would you guys that have been there recommend getting right back on the horse? Or would it be wise to go ahead and give REG a go and let AUD rest for awhile? Thoughts?

My situation is similar to yours, but I have started studying for a section while waiting for my score. I started studying for AUD while waiting for FAR.score. I received the score when I was in the middle of the Ch 1 of AUD. I've decided to put off the retake of FAR and planned, if I have time, on contributing 1 or 2 days for FAR section just not to forget the material. I just did not want to drop what I've started with AUD and get back to FAR. Your situation is a bit different. I don't know but if I would not have started with any other section I would probably get the failed section out of the way before starting on working for new section. Your AUD knowledge is fresh. I would also assume that you know, from taking the exam, where you have made mistakes. While reviewing AUD, you would be able to quickly recognize and review your weak areas. Ultimately do what you feel is right.

I was in exactly your situation back in August. I rescheduled my next two exams to be able to retake AUD and I'm so glad I did. It created a bit of a time crunch for me on BEC, but I managed to pull it off.

I say retake it asap. I failed Reg end of May and retook it beginning of July. I passed it by ten points. take it right away especially far with overwhelming materials
