My first attempt at FAR (72) I felt like it was not too difficult. Most major subjects were touched upon from a high level, and the number of in depth analysis, detailed questions were few. Should I expect this to be similar or different on my retake? Is the content completely random or do they subjectively give you easier questions your first attempt, and harder questions on your retake attempt?

I don't think they know it's a retake for you??? Expect the unexpected. Prepare as if you are about to take it for the first time. Practice, practice, practice, and make sure you understand all the material and journal entries VERY well!

just study as if you are studying for first time.Believe me you cannot predict these exams at all.

You know the material because you missed it just by few points.Just practice more MCQ's and without making more assumptions how the test will be just prepare hard.You shall be fine
