Well that is true, but I would think that it is similar to scoring in review materials. Research is all or nothing and it is either easy points, or a significant detriment. Even if you have no clue, on other problems you will likely at least get some partial credit. For me, I just needed to practice a lot. Once you do enough of them you start to get a feel for the relevant part of the question, and the necessary answer. I practiced a lot for REG and AUD. It was tough at first, because I was like I know the answer why do I have to find it? I was able to do the research in FAR without practice because I was used to the type of problem. Just practice until you start getting them right. It is usually 1-2 words that make the difference.

@y_u_no_pass: I practiced a few and still got the last code digits wrong but I will expect will get partial credit like you said. Thank you.

Don't know how much point it is worth but I can tell you this…I scored a 83 in REG and missed on 2 research questions and out of the other 4 sims, I did pretty well on 2 and probably got half the problems right on the other 2.
