Research during the exam

    So since FAR may ask us to go on the FASB Codification site to look for guidance, my question is how exactly are we supposed to do that on exam day? Is the website going to be ready for us or are we going to have to create an account to access it?

    The FASB Codification is built into the current exam software – no need to create an account or anything. It will be available during your task-based simulations.

    If you don’t have access already I would sign up to get a feel for it , maybe practice a couple of research SIMs. The search function is incredibly useful and if you input the proper words and know what you’re looking for it will take you to, or close to, your intended destination. Good luck, FAR was my first last August 31st, keep time for the SIMs
