Reschedule FAR?

I don’t know if it is all of the horror stories about FAR or if is my nerves but I am considering giving me another 6 days to study for FAR. I feel like if I cram I will have a grasp of the material by the 7th, but if I reschedule to the 13th I will definitely have a grasp of the material.

If I reschedule I would swap my late February Reg exam for Audit. Other than that I would still knock out 2 tests this window. What would you guys do?

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

I would reschedule… Look at it this way.. Paying $35 to reschedule is a lot cheaper than paying $190 + $50 for FAR again.

    BEC: 69, 57, 72, 73, (anticipated for 4/4/2015)
    AUD: 65, 63, 74, 84!!! (expires 7/31/2015)
    FAR: 63, 57, (scheduled for 4/1/2015)
REG: ... 42, (Anticipated to be around 5/20~)

How did you do on the practice test?

If you passed then take it, if not keep studying until you pass the practice test.

Rather than relying on “nerves” rely on what Becker tells you.

    BA Mathematics, UC Berkeley
Certificates in CPA and EA preparation, College of San Mateo
    CMA I 420, II 470
    FAR 91, AUD Feb 2015 (Gleim self-study)

Have you covered all the material and at a review stage now? If so, just keep doing MCQs. You don't work so you should have plenty of time to feel more comfortable….unless of course all your scores are below 70%…

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

Before every exam I felt like it wasn't really much to review and it felt like I knew nothing…. obviously it wasn't the case. If you score 80% on most topics then you should be fine.

A lot of it is nerves and because I scored 50 percent on the optional government questions on Becker. I appreciate your guys comments but I ended up pushing my test back 6 days. As tough Kitty pointed out I am not working so 6 days is like 3 weeks for a lot of people. I also switched my REG exam to AUD on Feb 28.

Better to reschedule than take it anyway knowing you are not ready. Good luck! And get off this site already!!! 😉 you'll thank me later.
