Is it common that sims would include preparation of tax forms?

I would recommend reviewing tax forms. I'll admit that I didn't really spend much time with them and still managed to get a decent score. But if I didn't pass, that was at the top of my list of things to do differently next time. Having a working knowledge of the forms will help you in both MCQ's and SIMS. I don't think you need to actually memorize the forms, but I'd be familiar with how to fill out the form and also with the calculations that appear on the form like how to compute AGI, Total Taxable Income, etc.
