This one was HARD. I was always the star student in tax and any biz law, but this the questions on these exams were so out of wack. About 50% of the material was covered in my Review and the rest came out of nowhere. I am extremely disappointed. Hopefully I pull off a 75. Does anyone know how this is graded?

You should get your score on May 4th because you took it by April 20th. I agree that REG was really hard! My SIMS were way out of left field!

@Mikey89 – The AICPA has a link on their website to describe how they grade the exams but it would take someone a lot smarter and with a lot more time than me to figure it out.

I used Yaegar who apparently covers the most material. However, for me it seems they didn't stress the most heavily tested material enough and the material they didn't even test was heavily emphasized.

REG is tricky (not that all other sections aren't), but don't get disappointed yet. The scoring is so weird, and you may end up passing!

For all those who are studying REG, don't underestimate b-law. Though, usually all SIMS are tax related, you could end up with majority of MCQs that are b-law related!

Another question I had was the MC themselves. I'm really not sure which one of these where considered Difficult and which were Medium? Can anyone explain? Thanks in advance.

I took REG recently. The problem with Yaeger is doing just their required minimum homework problems. You really have to do ALL the problems in the Wiley book and software more than once. That's what I did and I feel like anything caught me off guard. With the exception of 1 simulation. But let's just hope that one was pre-test. 😉
