I’m just checking in since I’ve been away for too long. I see that some of my old pals are still here! How’s everyone doing? For those who’ve passed, what have y’all been up to? For those still trucking along, how’s are things going?

Since I quit my job I’ve been busy doing course development work, teaching, writing, bookkeeping, and whatever else I can round up to pay the bills. I’m not making the money I was before (yet), but I’m a gazillion times happier and more at peace now that I’m out of the rat race. Plus, I refinanced my house and car and reduced my student loan payments. And I know longer pay much for gas or wear and tear on my car. These things help.

I miss you guys, and I hope you are well!

Didn't you share some other jewel with us as well? Some other procedure or illness? I thought you did, but I can't recall what it was. I don't think it had to do with your jewels though.

Right now I'm only teaching a couple of courses, but I plan to do more down the road. I love teaching! Most of my time is spent writing courses. The course development has been keeping me very busy, so I haven't been doing too much with the bookkeeping business. I'm keeping it to just a couple of clients for now. I'd love it if I could continue to find course development opportunities. I'd rather do course development and teaching than bookkeeping.
