Hi,

I am wondering how are the SIMS graded… its partial points or either 100% correct or 100% incorrect?

Also, on the Becker site I make journal entry in different order and its incorrect… example:

I put :

CR: Lease equipment

DR: Obligation under lease

DR: Cash

But becker puts:

CR: Lease equipment

DR: Cash

DR: Obligation under lease

Will this be incorrect on the exam for me?

i have this question as well. I'm a notorious journal entry out of order kinda dude. I blame industry.

As far as grading on the sims goes, God only knows how it works. There's endless speculation about it on this site, but that's all it is.

We do know, however, that the specific *order* of JEs doesn't matter. You can mix them around as you like without penalty on the real exam. For the Becker software, order does matter because the program is too simple to accept any deviation whatsoever. So in your example, Becker scored it as incorrect but the real exam would give you full credit.
